Carmody is back once again with a brand new single, this time sharing her mesmerising track 'Dreamweaver' via Young Poet Records. Produced with Jasper Tygner and co-written with Kevin Dailey, 'Dreamweaver' is a sneak preview of what's to come from her forthcoming EP, due for release in the coming months.
Drawing upon her own experiences as a songwriter, 'Dreamweaver' is about the life of a songwriter and the cathartic experience of crafting a narrative and discussing one's own story through music. On the track, Carmody said, "When we send songs out into the world it’s sometimes hard to know where they came from. Some writers believe they're channelling deities, others (like myself) can only really write about things they've personally experienced. But I guess there's always a hope that they will resonate in some way despite never really knowing what journey or life the song will take after it's been written."
