Now Playing: SEA GIRLS – 'Closer'

Thursday, July 18, 2019

Up-and-comers SEA GIRLS have unleashed their latest gem 'Closer', which is a soaring and infectious single from the London-based band. The four-piece have been playing up-and-down the UK for over a year now, and recently played their 100th show where they supported The Kooks in Manchester.

The anthemic track was designed to dominate in a live setting. 'Closer' is very catchy and all it takes is one listen for it to be stuck in your head. The track was developed after playing it live and refining the sound, Rory Young from the band said on the track, "The song came together in a backwards fashion in a hotel after our debut European gig in Barcelona. It was originally written as an electronic track about being far away. Replacing the synths with guitars back in London gave the track an absolute new lease of life."

SEA GIRLS need to visit Australia soon, and someone needs to make it happen.
