Glasgow-based band and one of our favourite breakthrough acts of the year, Walt Disco, have unveiled their moving new single 'Past Tense'. The up-and-comers continue their impressive run of singles with 'Past Tense', which follows in the footsteps of their exhilarating anthem 'Strange To Know Nothing'.

'Past Tense' sees the band reflect on closure, "Whether that be relationships, life, or periods of your life. It is important to take time to fully understand and let yourself feel what you need to feel in these moments," says lead singer James Potter. In true Walt Disco style, the track is home to grand soundscapes and soaring vocals.

Though the track wasn't originally written about grief, the music video, which was created with IHEARTCOMIX and written & directed by Franki Chan & Jesus Antonio Rivera, showcases a different interpretation of the song. 'Past Tense' marks the latest chapter of the IHC 1NFINITY universe. The video tells the story of a girl who awakes at the grave of her boyfriend when a black balloon appears. She hangs out with the balloon, but begins to realise the impact it's having on those around her. Ultimately she needs to come to the realisation that though it's hard, it's important to learn to let go.
