Though we're a couple of months late, we're delighted to have stumbled across Teal Moss' stirring single 'Lewis'. Teal Moss is the project of up-and-coming Denton, TX (and now LA-based) writer and producer Steven Fischer. Along with sharing 'Lewis' a few months ago, Fischer also unveiled his debut album Dewy in May.
'Lewis' is a tender song dedicated to man's best friend and according to him, "a very old doggo friend named, Lewis." Featuring swirling instrumentals, including dreamy guitar arrangements and delicate synths, his emotional words work beautifully with the soundscapes.
The track is home to stunning lyrics such as, "Well don't be sad at me. / The best days of my life... not always on / my mind but there're new days all the time."
