We first stumbled across Shikoswe's music after hearing 'Secret Bower' on Soundcloud, and once again she has shared another slice of magic with her most recent single 'Swimming'. The track also features on her mesmerising 10-track debut album, Back In The Tall Grass, which was released on August 16th.
The visuals for her dreamy single 'Swimming' are accompanied by intriguing scenes and captivating effects. Along with the short clips in the video, highlighted lyrics also appear on the screen. Though the video is eye-catching, the track also has a meditative quality and features a series of hopeful and inspiring lyrics — including "Don't weigh yourself down / True, you never asked to be born / But that leaves all the more freedom of choice," and "It's all the same / Swimming or drowning in a haze."
