Just before they hit BIGSOUND next month, Brisbane-based four-piece Future Haunts have shared their brand new single 'Fall In Line'. The band recorded the track themselves at Plutonium Studios and it was produced by Miro Mackie.
Featuring raw and honest lyrics, the song was written during the implementation of lockout laws in Sydney and Brisbane. It reflects on the effect lockout laws have had on the music community and fears artists had when they began enforcing the laws. On the single, singer Ben Speight said, "The song's a bit of a nod to all those who work hard to create and nurture a positive culture and to keep pushing on no matter what. The message behind the song is still just as relevant today, in the context of other knee-jerk decisions made to placate a few very loud voices in very high places."
