We're excited to today bring you 'Passivity', which is the brand new single by Melbourne-based band Trace Decay. The track follows in the footsteps of last year's infectious single 'How Did It Come To This?'. 'Passivity' is a melancholic slice of indie-pop that combines smooth vocals, whirling guitars and brooding instrumentals. The track also features moving and heartfelt lyrics that discuss feeling stuck amidst the mundanity of everyday life. According to frontman Jordan De Pasquale, "It's a statement on how easy it is to fall into passive mode and how it can make one feel trapped in the humdrum pattern of day to day life. 'Passivity' perfectly captures the inner workings of someone who has outgrown old patterns and seeks a new path."
On their impressive offering, Trace Decay takes everyday fears and thoughts and turn them into something that's utterly exquisite.
