Brisbane-based quartet and one of Australia's most exciting up-and-coming pop-punk bands, Waxflower, have given us a sneak peek of the music video for their energetic new single 'Back To Back'. It's been busy times for the band recently, who have played shows with Belle Haven, Yours Truly, and The Dead Love.
The video for 'Back To Back' was shot, directed, and edited by the band’s guitarist Nick Hargans, and features lead singer Tristan Higginson in an array of interesting situations — including in a cold bath full of rose petals whilst fully clothed. On the video, Higginson said, "The video concept plays on the themes of all-encompassing anxiety established in the song. Visual hints at drowning and being out of your depth are used throughout the clip. The video was filmed in the middle of winter, and after both underwater shots, I’ve never been as cold as I was in that pool."
