Sydney-based artist Green Buzzard continues his triumphant return after a two-year break, this time sharing his latest single 'To Be Like You'. His new single follows the release of 'I Don't Want To Be Alone' a few months ago. Both tracks will be appearing on his newly announced album Amidst The Clutter & Mess, which is due for release November 8th via I OH YOU.
'To Be Like You' is a poignant track about dissecting a past relationship (or a series of situations) and looking back at what went wrong. On the track he said, "'To Be Like You' and much of the album is introspective lyrically. It’s a break up song essentially. It’s not about one person or one moment in particular but rather those feelings of regret and disdain for something you’ve done and realising you never want to be like that."
Along with sharing the single, he has also released the music video, which was directed by Bill Bleakley. Through the use of mirrors, mannequins and an isolated room, the video reflects the contemplative nature of the track.
