Charlottesville-based artist Kate Bollinger will leave you with hearts in your eyes with her latest single ‘No Other Like You’. If you’re looking for a song to play on repeat and help wash your troubles away, you've found it.
Along with being delicate and dreamy, ‘No Other Like You’ features a mischievous bassline and jazz-inspired undertones. Her tender yet commanding vocals appear like gentle waves making their way towards the shore.
Though it's a love song, it’s also about acceptance according to Bollinger. On the track, she said, “This song is an example of writing something as a means of forcing myself to come to terms with it. 'No Other Like You' is a love song, but it's also an attempt at accepting impermanence. If you write about something you're afraid of in calm terms, I think you can start to believe yourself.”
