Swedish bedroom-pop artist Alec Baker has shared a preview of his upcoming debut EP with his dreamy new track 'Lava Pool'. Viktor Jansåker aka Alec Baker has spent the past two years working in studios in Sweden, London and New York, with his travels influencing his sound — whether it's spending time in jazz clubs, late-night studio sessions or the people he has met along the way.
On 'Lava Pool', he pairs his spacey and soothing vocals with lush synths and intricately layered beats. According to Alec Baker, his magnetic track is about being present within a moment with someone and sharing a collective experience with each other. He said, "I think the song encapsulates the experience of being one hundred percent absorbed in a moment with another person."
