Katy J Pearson has shared her first solo single 'Tonight', which was released a few weeks ago. Released via Heavenly Recordings, the single marks her first-ever release since ending a joint project with her brother.
'Tonight' is a tender exploration of new love and infatuation. One of the track's many dazzling highlights is her ability to write evocative lyrics that possess the same moving and stirring quality of a good short story, including words such as, "He stood still / Watching her through the spotlight / The song that was playing, it was alright / He said "Do you wanna dance with me tonight?" She has also shared the music video, which was shot and edited by Conan Roberts & Jake McGowan, and sees her line-dancing surrounded by picturesque surroundings.
