After a busy year of touring and releasing Triage in early 2019, Perth band Methyl Ethel last month shared their brand new single 'Majestic AF'. The track has previously made appearances during their live shows but was yet to be released officially until recently. The single is also set to appear on forthcoming EP Hurts To Laugh, due for release on April 10th.
With 'Majestic AF', Methyl Ethel's Jake Webb presents a side of the band that we haven't heard so far. Featuring swirling synths, escalating drums and intricately layered instrumentals, the arresting track is also home to yet another incredible vocal performance by Webb. 'Majestic AF' also features musing lyrics such as, "I don't know why, you didn't try / A bottomless sty of worry / An idle goodbye, you didn't talk /A bottled up Leviathan, so far, so gone."
