It’s a fact, you won’t find a bad Walt Disco song out in the world, and they've come through with the goods once again with their freshly released anthem ‘Cut Your Hair’. The Glasgow-based band have been playing the track in their live shows for a little while and also performed it during their BBC Introducing session (have a peek at the performance here).
According to Walt Disco’s very own James Potter, ‘Cut Your Hair’ is an empowering number about self-expression. “'Cut Your Hair' was written as a wee fun jibe at people passing judgement to those who are just being themselves. I think older generations can learn a lot from us YOUNG HARD AND HANDSOME folk. I mean our generation are the most tolerant and accepting, ever, and we should all aspire to live in a world where self-expression and free speech is championed."
Finding themselves somewhere between new wave, goth-pop, glam rock, synth-pop and whatever else they conjure up, there’s a lot to love about Walt Disco. Get acquainted with ‘Cut Your Hair’ below.
