Everything Jonathan Bree releases gives the world a listening experience that they won’t ever forget, and his new single ‘In The Sunshine’ is absolutely no exception. The track is another preview of his upcoming new record After The Curtains Close, which is scheduled to be released on July 17th via Lil’ Chief Records and will include previous singles ‘Waiting On The Moment’, ‘Kiss My Lips’, and ‘Cover Your Eyes’.
The video for ‘In The Sunshine’ was directed by frequent collaborator Chelsea Nikkel (Princess Chelsea), and depicts Jonathan Bree on an adventure on an undisclosed tiny island off mainland New Zealand. The melancholic scenes of him fishing and looking into the distance are the perfect companion to his bittersweet and moving words, including “Yet here we are survived / skip through fields in the sunshine / and it all it took was time / to see us both come right.”
Sit back and let Jonathan Bree take you to another place with his captivating offering ‘In The Sunshine’ below.
