South London artist Mysie has returned with yet another special offering, today coming through with her new single ‘Patterns’. Directed by Louis Mackay, Mysie has also revealed the accompanying visuals for the track.
Following on from a breakthrough year last year, 2020 has seen the talented up-and-comer release singles such as ‘Bones’ and ‘Gift’, as well as win the Rising Star award at the Ivor Novello Awards.
‘Patterns’ once again showcases Mysie’s masterful songwriting. The track sees her dissect her relationships and life choices from an introspective lens. She says on the story behind 'Patterns', “This song is about recognising the patterns within myself, and within my relationships. It’s about me acknowledging them and searching for freedom from them, making a conscious decision to break these habits and instead strive for growth and progress.”
