Vocalist and guitarist Deb Never recently shared her first single of 2021, coming through with her beautiful new number ‘Someone Else’.
After months of being stuck in Los Angeles in isolation, she decided to pack her bags and head to London, moving in with longtime collaborator and UK-based artist Michael Percy — ’Someone Else’ (and her forthcoming music) is a product of this life-changing decision made by Deb.
Tender and poignant, Deb Never bares it all on ‘Someone Else’. The song features moving and poetic lyrics such as, “The sparkles in your eyes, / Look like all the stars, / Do we see the same moon when you look up? / I can rob you of your time, / But still can't break in, your complicated mind,” which are the track’s opening words.
The charming video for the single was filmed in the Hampstead Heath neighbourhood on film and was directed by Elif Gönen
