South Korean artist BIBI has released her much-anticipated mini-album Life is a Bi.... The experimental offering sees BIBI explore an array of genres, including R&B and alt-pop, resulting in five intriguing tracks.
According to South Korean publication OSEN, she played a major role in many aspects behind the release — including the composition of music, production, lyric-writing, as well as the development of creative concepts.
Appearing on the mini-album is the lead single, ‘BAD SAD AND MAD’. The track's mix of R&B-influenced beats and her hushed yet smooth vocals is both hypnotic and addictive. The release has also been accompanied by captivating and sensual visuals that build on the evocative nature of BIBI’s words — which includes lyrics such as “Black my bone and / Purple my eyes / You red my mind / Yeah, you red my mind," she sings.
